Since Emory ended up nursing for an entire year, it has been a while since we went somewhere overnight!! For our Christmas present, my folks watched the kids while we took a trip to Boone just before Christmas Eve..

dessert at Kilwin's in Blowing Rock before checking in at our Inn!

lunch at Kojay's before we headed home. We strolled, shopped, ate, and enjoyed not taking anyone to the bathroom haha!
